Case Study:

East Bay Community Recovery Project

Collaborative relationship + innovative technology = better benefits for employees + substantial savings

Challenge

EBCRP is a nonprofit that provides substance abuse, mental health, and other related services to the underserved in the East Bay area of California. However, their administrative costs were rising, their aging infrastructure was unable to efficiently utilize resources and they were hampered by outdated technology. These issues left them unable to procure funding for the staffing, equipment and real estate needed to further their mission.

Results

Nonstop saw three areas where they could help EBCRP find substantial savings - health benefits, HR technology and employee time management, and payroll technology:
  • Over $150,000 in hard dollar savings over the first year of membership.
  • A more comprehensive benefits plan.
  • Nonstop Exchange and time tracking capabilities allowed employees to devote more time to mission-based work.
